Dogs at wedding

dogs at wedding

my husband is the kind of person who’s hands go clammy just looking at the wedding channel. So when we got married I had to make sure he was as comfortable as could be, which included making our dogs part of the wedding party. It was wonderful. But there can be pit falls. Here’s a how to!

Make sure your dog is well behaved. If the dog is not easily controlled, consider going to some puppy classes: after all, you’d take dancing lessons for your big day, so why not some puppy classes? They will benefit you a life time!

Get someone to watch the dog. Someone you trust. Your dog is your baby, you wouldn’t want drunk unvle Frank babysitting your precious child, now would you?
Get your pet something festive. A bow, a suit, or just a good old brush; make him feel part of the festivities.
Make sure he gets plenty of water and that there is a place where he can be alone for a bit. Dogs love people, but when they get tired, they want to be left alone for a bit, especially if there are a lot of kids around!
Make sure your wedding venue allows for dogs!
