I’ve been trying my dogs to fetch for quite a while now, and getting nowhere. Either they ignore the ball, as they know I have a treat or they get the ball and then hide it from me. That’s why I really like the video of this cute dachshund: he does it all on his own! (video after the jump)

Removing dog hair from your clothes or your couch can be as easy as pie: just put the nozzle of your vacuum cleaner on the area you want to clean and get sucking! However, I don’t own a vacuum cleaner, so I had to go and find a way to get rid of those hairs without electricity or appliances.

I am extremely happy as I recently got a second dog, a very cute rescue puppy with a bit of Jack Russell in him. However, two dogs do indeed shed twice as much hair! So here are three sure fire ways to get rid of dog hairs.

First, you can use one of those sticky rollers they use to get lint off your clothes. Works really well for the couch or your bed as well (yep, both my dogs now sleep in my bed and wake up every morning with some body’s paw in my eye!) These are not expensive at all from places like Ikea.
Don’t have one and need to get rid of hair NOW? Just use sticky tape! Or ducked tape.
Another good way is to get dog removal spray. It somehow (don’t ask me how) manages to destatisize, if that’s even a word, the hairs. Static is what makes the hair stick to your clothes and your couch, so if they stop that I can see how that would help!

If all else fails, you can always try the tips in Knitting with dog hair, a book I came across while looking for ways to get rid of dog hairs in the first place. Sounds fun, eh?
Not sure I’d want to wear a sweater made from my pooch, then again “better a dog you love, than a sheep you don’t”

French bulldog bed

Of course I don’t recommend that you try this at home, but this French bulldog looks really cute making his owner’s bed. I love that grunting sound they make.

Pugs dancing videot

So funny! I am totally teaching my chihuahua to do this as well!

Look at them go! Pugs are so cute, just watching them eat is funny, let alone watching them dance. Makes me want to run out and get a pug or two!
